
Kim Keesler has directed the Showboaters since August 2006. He graduated from Southwest Baptist College in 1979 and taught vocal and instrumental music in public schools for 15 years. He is a member of the Spring Garden Baptist Church and is actively involved in their music program and ministries. In August 2007, Keesler joined over 600 international barbershoppers attending Barbershop Harmony University at St. Joseph, Missouri where he attended sessions on Sound Management, Directing Techniques, Music Theory, and Performance Leadership.

Bill Lehman, assistant musical director, is one of the Showboaters charter members. He has over twenty-five years experience in church music providing piano and organ accompaniment. He has also participated in productions for The Little Theater and The Stained Glass Theater. In 2008 Bill attended Harmony University.
Bill serves as Choral Accompanist and Sub Organist for First Christian Church (DOC) of Jefferson City and accompanist for the Jefferson City Choral Philharmonic. He also sings with the Our Savior's Lutheran Church Choir and is a member of the Jefferson City Cantorum.
