About Us

We are a new chapter of the Barber Shop Harmony Society based in Jefferson City, Missouri. We were formed in November of 2004 and have been singing weekly ever since. We are one of over 800 chapters throughout the United States that comprise over 30,000 men singing a cappella in close harmony. We began with quite a few members with experience from other barbershop groups. Now we add our own special musical blend and personality to a tradition that has been around for a long time. We love to sing and it shows! Our musical goal is to provoke an emotional response from our audience.

We are a not-for-profit organization that takes great pride in helping anyone with the desire to learn to sing to their highest ability. Our members can be found in an assortment of occupations; some active, some retired and some still in school. We embrace all generations, races, societies, and cultures. What we see in each other is a source of friendship, fellowship, and support. We are like a very large family of many brothers.

We have a great desire to repay our community for the support is shows us by providing vocal music education and entertainment for our community in the best traditions of our barbershop society. Our aim is to become a championship chorus through the contest format of the Barber Shop Harmon Society while still providing, in the manner of our vaudeville history, well choreographed and varied musical presentations for our community on a regular basis.
