High Street Sound Quartet

John Downs – Bass.

Lyle Rosburg – Baritone.

Earl Friedmeyer – Lead.

Bill Lehman – Tenor.

Formed in March 2005, these singers have diverse professional backgrounds and musical histories.  Since they were formed, the High Street Sound (HSS) has performed at social gatherings, a wedding (Lyle’s), church functions, and delivered singing telegrams.

John Downs works for the State of Missouri , Department of Social Services and sang with the Columbia, Missouri-based Boonslick Chordbusters before co-founding the Jefferson City, Missouri-based Show Me Showboaters.

Lyle Rosburg is the Chief Financial Officer of the Jefferson City Medical Group.  Lyle sang with the Boonslick Chordbusters and the St. Louis #1 Chorus before moving to Central Missouri .

Earl Friedmeyer is proprietor of California Construction Supplies in California , Missouri and sang with the Boonslick Chordbusters before co-founding the Jefferson City, Missouri-based Show Me Showboaters.  Earl previously sang tenor in the Top Flight barbershop quartet.
